CAP (Civil Air Patrol, Elkins Composite Squadron)
Elkins Composite Squadron meets at the Elkins-Randolph County Regional Airport every Wednesday (6:30 pm – 9:00 pm). Civil Air Patrol is an all-volunteer organization focusing on three missions: Aerospace Education, Cadet Programs, and Emergency Services.
Feel free to join a meeting any Wednesday from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm at the Elkins- Randolph County Regional Airport or you may contact Maj Kathleen Dawson at 304-642-7492. We invite you to come share your love of aviation with the youth, share or build upon your experiences, or learn something new. You can find out more about what we do by visiting the Facebook page at www.facebook/capelkins
Aerospace Education – Mission Statement: Volunteers serving America’s communities, saving lives, and shaping futures.
Cadet Programs – Mission: Transform youth (ages 12-17) into dynamic Americans and aerospace leaders.
Many opportunities are available for members interested in expanding their field of knowledge in leadership, aviation, community service, and so much more. We are known as “the best kept secret”, for all ages, even though it is not intentional. Interested in more information about this volunteer organization?
